Confidential Computers is a family business that grew out of the want to help average computer users get by in this increasingly complicated computer world. Everyday there seems to be a news headline about another person exploited by new technology, whether they are innocent children or unexpecting consumers.

Six years ago, Brian O'Neil started providing computer services to his family’s business as their IT Manager. He quickly learned the frustrations that many home and small business owners face with their IT decisions. They spend an inordinate amount of time dealing with complex computer issues and decisions instead of focusing their attention on their core business. Prior to working as an IT Manager, Brian served twelve years in law enforcement. He never got rid of the investigative bug and has devoted much of his spare time studying computer forensic investigation. Among his career highlights:

Graduated from Federal Law Enforcement Training Center

Graduated from Eastern Missouri Law Enforcement Training Center

Holds a Bachelor Degree majoring in Criminal Justice

Completed several computer forensic courses including advanced course work

IT experience includes network and system administration, network security, and training

Business experience includes accounting, auditing, and project management

Law Enforcement experience includes Juvenile Law, Physical Security, and anti terrorism assignments

Michele O'Neil is our business manager. In addition to keeping the books, she has developed keen investigative skills that are important to the time consuming investigations that complex email and internet chat logs present. She has extensive prior accounting experience and education and is currently enrolled in a computer forensics course.
